EPREUVE DE FORCE (Race to Maachi Haveli 50km) Trial of Strength - 5th Edition

Registration Open: 5th April 2022, 9AM

Registration Close: 01st May 2022, 6PM

Assembly Point: Lake Zone, Near Airport, Harni, Vadodara

[1] Start Details :- From the Lake Zone, Near Airport, at 5:30 am. The event would be non-competitive up to Vadodara-Halol Toll Plaza. The race will Flag-off from the Toll Plaza by 6:00AM.

[2] Officials would be at the Finish Line at Maachi to record the positions and Timings of the riders crossing the line. The RACE finishes at Maachi.

[3] The event would be escorted by motorbike mounted officials for its smooth conduct. There would be a car to sweep any riders discontinuing the race enroute.

[4] First three riders both in men and women categories to cross the Finish Line at Maachi would be presented with prize money. If any category has 10 or less participants then prize money will be issued for only top 2 positions. If any category has 5 or less participants then cash prize will be issued to only first place.

Cash Prizes:

First Place: Rs.10,000/-

Second Place: Rs.7,500/-

Third Place: Rs.5,000/-

Men Open (age below 40 years on race day)

Men Veteran (age above 40 years on race day)

Women Open (age below 40 years on race day)

Women Veteran (age above 40 years on race day)

[5] In case of traffic jams and snarls at the summit, the riders would be required to walk the final stretch with their bikes to cross the finish line. The complaints in this matter would be out-rightly and unequivocally rejected.

[6] It is mandatory that the participants obey and follow the Traffic Rules for the safety of their own and for that of the other road users as well.

[7] The main objective behind organizing this event is to invite all the cyclists of different groups and categories to come together and compete in the healthy spirit of sports and also for the ennoblement of cycling in our society.

[8] All the participants/officials/guests etc would be served refreshments after the event near the Finish Line.

[9] All finishers will be given Digital Certificate of completion with their timing.

[10] Event is only open to Adults (18+ years old) since the race is on open roads with motorised traffic. Children below 18 but 16+ years old can be eligible if they have participated in state or National championships. 

[11] Cut-off time for finisher's medal will be 3 hours.

[12] We will organise a bus and a truck to transport riders and their bikes back to start point from finish after breakfast service. Please indicate during registration if you wish to avail this facility.

[13] E-bikes, time trial cycles and triathlon cycles are NOT ALLOWED. Tri bars, aero bars or any other type of extension handle bars are NOT ALLOWED. Road bikes, MTB's and hybrid cycles /city bikes are allowed but we do not have any separate race category based on the type of cycle used. Hence we anticipate that most riders will participate with road bikes having drop handle bars.

[14] Any dispute or objection regarding the final result must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of completion of the race to officialtccb@gmail.com. All the details of the objection along with chronological sequence of event and any evidence such as videos and photos or witness testimonials must be submitted with the emailed objection for the consideration of the Race Committee. Decision of the Race Committee will be considered final.
